Weekly News from CVLC
FARMING CHURCH - the next Farming Church meeting will be on October 27 following the 10:30 service. This month's topic is "Cultivating Trust" and it follows last month's topic of "Cultivating Faith." The entire Church Council is participating in the Farming Church effort - the goal is to form Christus Victor into the best possible version of ourselves that we can be, so that we are the kind of congregation God would have us be. These monthly meetings are designed to produce 1, 2 or 3 new initiatives or emphases that cultivate a particular Key Cultivation - this month we are cultivating leadership. Congregation members are invited and encouraged to participate in these Farming Church meetings as we grow together in God's Mission.

THANK YOU to the women of our WELCA group for providing toiletry items to “restock” the supply in the church office. We often have folks in our community that need help with items such as toiletries, and it is a blessing to be able to provide them with some assistance. Thank you so much for your generous response!
